Financial Aid
For many years, CSU Pueblo has used a product called PowerFAIDS as its Financial Aid Management System. As an in-house/on-premise product, it required a lot of administration, upgrades and maintenance to keep running. It was also based on an older design methodology which made it somewhat archaic to troubleshoot and support.
The Ellucian software company, makers of Banner, have a financial aid module that is native to Banner and also used by CSU Fort Collins. After much assessment, the decision was made to migrate from PowerFAIDS to the Banner financial aid module in due course as the Banner implementation project progresses.
The financial aid module will then be hosted in Fort Collins rather than Pueblo and will leverage common support and institutional knowledge about the operation and features of the system
