E-Contracts
Employment contracts have been needlessly complex, requiring many signatures acquired through a manual process, slowing down our ability to bring in needed talent in a timely fashion. This has been particularly painful during the start of semesters when many adjunct faculty are hired to meet the needs of our students.
The E-Contracts project is meant to streamline this process by reducing the number of signatures needed to ensure appropriate budget oversight, as well as leverage an electronic system to route, track and finalize employment contracts.
The project will be developed and implemented in several phases to accommodate the many forms and exceptions used in various hiring situations. The first phase will address the faculty and adjunct faculty contract process and began in Fall of 2019.
Training will be available for staff involved in the hiring and contract approval process upon completion of implementation and testing of the system.
