Who Should Apply as a First-Year Student?
You should apply as a first-year student if you are currently in high school, recently graduated from high school, earned a GED, or have not enrolled in college after completing high school.
Students who earned college credit while in high school are still considered first-year students when applying to CSU Pueblo.

Send Your High School Transcript
Submit an official high school transcript or GED documentation so CSU Pueblo can review your academic record.

If you earned college credit while in high school, request official transcripts from each college or university where credit was earned.
Review Test Score Options
ACT and SAT scores are optional for undergraduate admission but may be used for placement, advising, or scholarship review.
Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships
Complete the FAFSA or applicable financial aid steps and review scholarship opportunities to help make college more affordable.
