Dr. Jubaer Ahmed is a renowned researcher and expert in transportation safety, with a strong focus on human factors and behavioral analysis. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to numerous university, state, and federally-funded projects, working tirelessly to enhance road safety and mitigate the consequences of risky driving behaviors.

Dr. Ahmed's groundbreaking research explores the impact of emotional intelligence on risky driving behaviors, providing valuable insights for the improvement of road safety. Collaborating with the Human Systems Lab, he utilizes advanced technology and AI to better understand the role of emotional intelligence in the context of road safety and develop innovative technological solutions for the future. Over time, Dr. Ahmed's research interests have expanded to encompass other important transportation domains, including sustainable transportation, autonomous vehicle design, and passenger air vehicles. This has established him as a forward-thinking expert, ready to tackle the challenges of next-generation transportation systems.

At the Southern Colorado Institute of Transportation Technology (SCITT), Dr. Ahmed is passionate about broadening his research horizons to include railway transportation and is eager to engage in wider transportation research collaborations. Prior to joining SCITT, he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Colorado State University's Department of Systems Engineering and contributed to numerous traffic safety projects during his Ph.D. journey at Montana State University's Center for Health and Safety Culture.
