Bio
Kirsten Kleven is a collaborative pianist and piano teacher based in Pueblo, CO. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from CSU-Pueblo as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Mass Communications from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. She currently maintains a busy schedule as a collaborative pianist for several organizations including Colorado State University-Pueblo, the Pueblo Children’s Chorale, Christ the King Catholic Church, the Fremont Community Choir and the South High School Choir program. She has also performed as a keyboardist with the Steel City Theater, Musical Community Productions, the CSU-P theater program, and with several of Pueblo D60 and D70’s musical productions. She has accompanied several times for CSU-P’s Honor Choir and Pueblo’s All-City Choir festivals, as well as with the Pueblo Youth Symphony. She has performed at the Colorado State Capitol, Disneyland, DisneyWorld, Elitch Gardens, and on the Carnival cruise ship, Inspiration. Kirsten also teaches piano lessons at the Sounds Good! Music Studio, which she owns and operates, as well as with the Pueblo Music Academy. Her students have won awards and have received music scholarships. When not performing or teaching, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 daughters and 2 dogs.
