“Developing software is a complex task with a lot of moving parts, so learning how to successfully integrate software development, database management, cyber security, and business requirements into a successful project is an invaluable skill that the CIS program provides.”

Alex also participated in a coding Hack-a-Thon and multiple cyber security and National Cyber League competitions while completing the program. He now works on data analytics applications that help organizations optimize their supply chains.

His achievements at CSU Pueblo helped him move into a Scholarship for Service graduate program and continue his education at the master's level.
